![]() ![]() ![]() The VW (notice the manatee on the door) and golf cart are on display at Shell World. An impressive use of shells and coral. The toothy yellow character on the front of the golf cart appears to be a type of piranha.
![]() As seen in the opening sequence of the movie National Lampoon's Vacation.
Arguably the best Vacation movie.
The pictures below were taken at the alligator breeding marsh, ten acres of natural habitat populated with 100 female and 25 male gators. It features a walkway through the marsh and a three story observation tower that offers a commanding view of the lake.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The pictures above were taken in an area under the steps of the observation tower where there was nothing between my head and those gators. Hearing them growl and hiss close up is really something.
![]() This gator above is swimming across the pond with a freshly killed bird in its mouth. The bird was perched on a branch about three feet above the water. The gator came up out of the water and chomped on the branch causing the bird to fall in the water. A couple of seconds of thrashing in the water to regain his balance to fly away was all the gator needed. He came up from below and CHOMP. It was really spectacular to see this live versus on TV. Notice the other gators swimming in from the
right to investigate and try to get a little for themselves.

![]() Matthew and Michele feeding the emus. Very
aggressive birds.
The know how to get the feed out of the machine before it gets in your hand.
![]() ![]() These two beauties are salt water crocs from Australia. Its hard to tell from the picture but the one on the left is some 17 ft. long. These guys are very quick and very aggressive. I was too busy watching the show to take pictures. Very captivating.
